Thoughts from the shower...

On the advice of council I will be keeping a file on the threats that I have received and reporting the phone call to my phone company. This is to give evidence should any of the threats be taken any further. I have never been in such a frightening position caused by persons I once thought of as friends.

I hope, some day, to be able to attend HKC sponsored dog shows without fear or anger. Perhaps a meeting with or an apology from the persons who have caused this break would go a long way to mending this fence.

I have been asked by only one person to reconsider resigning my membership. I have always encouraged persons considering this move to think of the welfare of the club (or other organization) before they take this route. In this case I can see nothing to be served if I remain in contact with any of the major players in this act.

In the future I may re-post my blog entry that began this meltdown. It would be slightly altered. Understand that I have worked for a newspaper and understand libel laws. I have never posted or, for that matter, written in any context anything that was intended to harm. As I have said many times before, I am only interested in the facts/truth.

This brings up the topic of motives. No one can know another's motives. Even with a history of behavior the motive cannot be deduced. We don't always know our own motivation. I have always thought that when someone says that a certain motive has been causing a behavior what they are really saying is that if THEY were the person that would have been THEIR motive. I would be interested in your thoughts on this topic.
